PCAAE gets complimentary membership from AuSAE

The Australasian Society of Association Executives (AuSAE) www.ausae.org.au has provided the PCAAE a complimentary organizational membership to enable it to receive publications and communications from the Brisbane-based organization. Future cooperation between PCAAE and AuSAE in terms of joint/attendance to training programs and other educational events are also being explored. AuSAE is the peak professional society working for its members and representing a community of over 10,000 individual leaders working in not-for-profit organizations throughout Australia and New Zealand.

PCAAE Board amends bylaws, approves membership structure, dues

In its meeting on May 13, 2014, the Board of Trustees (BoT) approved the amendment of the organization's by-laws to have more representation from members in the BoT. From the initial seven (7) membership Board, the BoT expanded the number to 15 to have a diverse and dynamic group representing different professional background and experience. The BoT also approved having two initial membership categories: (1) Core Members - those working in the association and non-profit sectors and (2) Affiliate Members - those who support the work and advocacies of PCAAE, including those who formerly worked in the association and non-profit sectors. The annual membership dues for Core and Affiliate Members are P2,000 and P3,000, respectively.

Survey on Good Governance

Survey on Good GovernanceThe result of the survey conducted by the Advocacy and Stakeholders sector is shown. On the first question, Vision, Mission and Philosophy were the top three which are currently present in member’s respective organizations.

The second question showed that Vision and Mission were also well defined in their organization. As to the third question on what characteristics are present in their working environment, transparency, accountability and commitment garnered the highest votes. read more

Survey on Topics of Interest

Survey on Topics of InterestThe graph shows survey results on matters that interest PCAAE members.

On membership, member engagement got the majority of votes followed by recruitment and retention. Under Finance –fund sourcing, organizing conferences and educational programs got the highest rank followed by sponsorship fund raising.

On events programs, members are most interested in event planning management and program design marketing. On advocacy, majority of them favors association governance. Under the marketing initiative, association branding marketing got the highest rank. On technology, members were more interested in online marketing. read more
